Almost one month ago, the Northern Ghanaian artist Fancy Gadam made waves online with his song “Nje vuri.” The track was a contemporary high life and Afropop song that became so popular it was played on local and international radio stations. In less than a week the song "Njevuri" became most popular on boomplay. Fancy has become one of the most sought after music collaborators in Northern Ghana, appearing as a guest vocalist on songs such as “Asadaachi” by De Donzy, and many more. He is now on Monday 11 June the official cover artist for top Afropop and Contemporary High Life songs on Boomplay. Fancy Gadam has also been busy recording new singles to be released soon.

He is a self-taught musician

Fancy Gadam has not taken any music classes or attended any music school. He began his music career as adancer and later venture into singing.

He is the cover artist for Boomplay, one of the most popular music apps in Ghana

Fancy Gadam was made to become the cover artist for Boomplay after his song “Njevuri” became an instant hit. Boomplay is a music app that hosts a catalogue of Ghanaian and African music. On their platform, users can create playlists and search for their favourite songs.

Fancy Gadam suggests that young people who want to pursue a career in the arts should remain patient, work hard, and study more about the craft. He believes that you need to know more about your craft in order to excel in it. Fancy also encourages young people to invest in themselves. He says they should save money and make wise investments that will help them in the long run
