The spring concert originally set for March 1st has now been changed to March 15th due to conflicts with the basketball state tournament.

Congratulations!

Six band students were selected to the Iowa All-State Band Festival held in Ames November 19th - 21st.

Being selected to the all-state is the highest honor a high school musician may receive in the state. Nominees commented on what a great honor and opportunity being selected is and said they look forward to learning a great deal at the festival

After auditioning October 24th in Storm Lake, the following students were selected:  Dana Sly - 1st time - Tuba, Kiersten Van Whye - 2nd time - Flute, Elizabeth Horneber - 3rd time - Clarinet, Anna Pritchard - 2nd time - Bari Sax, Ryan Middleton - 1st time - Tenor Sax, and John Dickey - 1st time - Trumpet.
